Produced in France, and crafted from a cast-iron base, this rectangular pan is coated on both sides with slightly textured black enamel. Over time, it will develop a fine stick-resistant surface. Oil the pan before use, heat slowly, and maintain moderate temperatures for best results. Use the griddle side for pancakes, French toast, or sandwiches, all of which emerge crisp and golden brown. The grill side's rounded grilling grids, set close together at an angle, produce excellent grill marks. Both sides cook food rapidly and evenly. Please note this item is not recommended for Ceramic/Glass stovetops.
