This cleaver made of high-carbon-chromium-vanadium stainless steel will slice, and dice, and mince with ease and precision. A slightly curved blade allows the chef to "rock and chop". Viking knives are manufactured to the highest standards of excellence. Using a precise metal formulation results in a blade that: holds a better edge, is easy to sharpen, and is rust and stain-resistant, as well as tough and durable. Each knife is one piece and hot-drop forged for increased blade strength. Full tang construction increases strength and provides optimum balance. The taper ground ice-hardened blade keeps thm sharper longer, with long-lasting polyoxymethylene handles with fiberglass reinforcement and triple rivet handle construction that are hygienic and impervious to water. Hand crafted in Solingen Germany. Viking Range Corporation manufactures and markets a wide range of professional kitchen appliances for home use.
